For some reason one of the recent patches deleted all of my 32 bit libraries and i had to reinstall them, that could be your problem. My experience was very similar.

Its rather annoying that i have the most updated drivers and a card with shader model 3.0 and i cannot get in yet.. I figured i'd post again to keep this in discussion.. if anyone finds a true fix please tell us.

Why hasn't ccp even tried to explain to some of us why we get stuck on "Entering character creator" yet...? I mean seriously we aren't dealing with SOE here just tell us whats going on CCP... If you dont know why, say so, but dont leave me hanging...
